Life just gets more busy every day. Chris just started classes at Butler Community College and can't wait to get done. I am still teaching at the College and I am staying pretty busy. I can't wait until I have a long break. I will be done with one class Monday February 2nd. I still have to prepare the Final and Practical Exam. That will be easy though. The hard part is just trying to juggle everything else with that.
Emma is so smart. She knows where mommy and daddy's eyes are and she will say "eye" and then put her finger right in them. I sing the alphabet to her everyday so she will start to learn them, and she loves it and will start to dance. She is talking a lot more. Even though I can't understand what she is saying half of the time, okay, pretty much all of the time except when she says "eye," or "doggie" or "okee dokee" which are all so cute, but she is talking a lot.
She is 18 1/2 months which means that she can go into nursery all by herself. I love it. She loves it too. I think her favorite part about it is the snacks and playing with the toys and bubble time, well, she really loves all of it. I am so glad. With the time change though it is a challenge. It is around the time of her nap so last week I stayed in there with her. I love being in there too. I love the bubbles too okay. The secret is out.
Seminary is going really good. I am loving it still. I really love the challenge of learning how to teach and how to be a better person myself. I am really learning a lot. I pray that I will know what the students need, when really I think that it is also what I need. Chris and I used to memorize scriptures and write them in a little book and for the month we would write down thoughts that we had as we studied that scripture and other scriptures that we would come across. We decided to do that again. I am excited. It has helped me in the passed and I know that it will be a huge blessing for me now. I receive so much strength as I do that and I feel so much closer to the spirit and the Lord. I love the scriptures.
The scripture that we will be memorizing is 1 Nephi 15:24-25
"And I said unto them that it was the word of God; and whoso would
hearken unto the word of God, and would hold fast unto it, they would never
perish; neither could the temptations and the fiery darts of the adversary
overpower them unto blindness, to lead them away to destruction.
"Wherefore, I, Nephi, did exhort them to give heed unto the word of the
Lord; yea, I did exhort them with all the energies of my soul, and with all the
faculty which I possessed, that they would give heed to the word of God and
remember to keep his commandments always in all things."

I hope all is well with everyone.
