Good-bye Lake Havasu City, Yuma Arizona... Here we come!

We finally got an apartment in Yuma. It is small. We loaded up the moving truck for the second time and got there on Friday. I walked into the apartment a little surprised at how small it was. We unloaded half of the truck and got to work with putting things away so we could unload the rest. Needless to say, almost all of our boxes are going back into storage. I got the necessities like my craft stuff, clothes and all of my kitchen stuff since I love to cook and bake, and our movies. We don't have a T.V. but we do have our laptops that we will use for our movies. We are going to have to make do with as little as possible until work in Yuma picks up for Chris. I am excited to start again in Yuma. I am in Lake Havasu City, AZ now but will be in Yuma on Friday. The ward in Havasu is great. I will miss it, but I am looking forward to what the Lord has in store for me. I don't like being idle. I am not exactly idle, especially with Emma and Everett keeping me on my toes. Lately Emma thinks she can fly. she thinks that if she flaps her arms fast enough she can fly. She came up to me the other day crying. I asked her what the matter was. She told me that she can't fly that she needs to go to the Halloween store to get a bird costume so she can fly. Too cute.
Oh, also, Everett is going to be ONE this Sunday. Where has the time gone? It actually seems like he has always been here. He is getting into everything. I know that he knows what the word "No" means by now. I use it so often. He is catching on that if he continues doing what he is not supposed to that he will go into time out. He doesn't like that, so he is starting to listen and think twice about what he is about to do. He is testing the waters to see what he can get away with. He is a little stinker.

One thing I am looking forward to about being in Yuma is we will be so close to the Ocean. I have never seen the ocean. I know, how lame is that, but we will be going to the San Diego temple with our ward. We are definitely taking advantage of that. We are also close to the Mexico border. We are getting our passports so we can go to Mexico. Mmmm, mexican food! Yum. We went to Filiberto's the other day and I got Chili Rellenos. They were so good, but they did not agree with my stomach. I ended up throwing some of it up. It was mostly grease. My stomach doesn't do well with greasy food. I guess that is a good thing. It means that i will eat less bad things. It doesn't mean that I do though. Ice cream is not greasy!!! There's always room for ice cream.
