Spring Fever

If anyone has spring fever it is I. The weather has been nice the past couple of days and I am itching to start my garden. Chris and I went to Lowe's to price wood so that we can build a raised bed. we are going to make two 4x4 raised beds. We bought a compost bin the other day. I just have to fill it with all of the grass and leaves that we have in the back yard and scraps from our house. Dad got me a couple of books about gardening that have been pretty helpful. reading them makes me get more excited for this summer. I plan on spending a lot of time out side this summer. I think sunblock will also be my new best friend. I love my beautiful white skin, plus I don't tan so it is hopeless to even try. I have a lotion that I can use to make me look tan. That is good for me.

Being Pregnant

Being pregnant hasn't been a whole lot of fun this time around. Well, when is the first trimester ever any fun? NEVER!!! I have been more sick with this one than with Emma. There was a time a couple of weeks where I couldn't keep anything down. I was so dehydrated and miserable. All I could do was lay in bed and be pathetic. I had to call my mom and sister to come and get Emma a couple of times.
One time Emma came and hopped into my bed with me. I had the trash can right next to my bed and started to throw up. Emma thought I was playing and thought that it was the most funny thing that she started to laugh at me then she said, "Mommy, are you okay?" So sweet! I don't really think she knew what she was asking.

Dr.'s appointment

I had my doctors appointment the other day. I had a good check up and got to hear the baby's heartbeat. The doctor found it right away. It was 160 bpm. It was a beautiful sound. I still can't believe that we are going to have another baby again. I am really excited.
I have to tell you about what the doctor did when it was time for her to check my uterus and everything. She told me to lay back then told me to scoot down until my hand touched her bottom. Did you get that? I started laughing, then she said, "Oh, I am a little dyslexic this morning." I was feeling horribly sick that morning, so I was glad to have a laugh. It always seems that when I have something to do I get sick. Lovely!
